Planning a partial rewire, wider electrical refurbishment or alterations to an existing installation? Tell us about your property and project for an assessment and quotation.
Rewiring requirements depend on the installation condition, property size, access, number of circuits and how the space will be used. We discuss the work and arrange appropriate assessment before confirming the scope and price.
Commercial alterations may involve lighting, power arrangements, equipment supplies, containment, isolation and access constraints. Share plans, photographs and information about current use so the works can be assessed properly.
Rewiring and new electrical installation work can require design, inspection, testing, certification and regulatory notification. The necessary arrangements must be confirmed for each project before work starts. An enquiry is not a promise that every type of installation work will be undertaken.
Photos can help with an initial discussion, but a detailed and reliable rewire price usually requires additional information or a survey.
We take full-rewire enquiries and assess suitability, scope and the required competent-person and certification arrangements before confirming work.
It depends on property size, occupied status, access and the work specified. A realistic programme follows a survey and scope review.

Describe the premises (shop, office, workshop or unit), postcode, electrical issue and desired access time. Photographs and any existing circuit information can help us determine the right scope. Confirmed costs and works depend on site conditions.

Homes and landlords · Hornchurch based
Electrical repairs, lighting faults, socket and switch replacements and rewiring enquiries for homes and rental properties around Hornchurch, Romford and East London.
If a socket stops working, lights flicker or a switch becomes damaged, we can investigate the existing installation and advise on suitable repairs. Tell us what is happening and which rooms or fittings are affected.
We also take enquiries for partial and full rewires, electrical improvements and planned upgrades. These require a scope review before any price or programme can be agreed. Testing, certification and any necessary building-control notification must be arranged as applicable.
Send your postcode, a short description of the issue and a clear photo of the existing fitting, consumer unit or affected area if safe to photograph. We can then discuss the next step and provide a guide or site-based quotation.

Domestic and commercial faults · Hornchurch based
Tripping RCDs, failing lights, faulty sockets and intermittent power faults can have different causes. We investigate the reported symptoms and explain suitable next steps.
Repeated tripping can be linked to a faulty appliance, moisture or a fault in fixed wiring. Diagnosis is based on the circuits affected and suitable safe testing. Avoid repeatedly resetting a device that trips again immediately.
Flickering lights, a dead socket or an unreliable switch can have more than one cause. We investigate the condition of the fitting and circuit before recommending repair or a suitable like-for-like replacement.
Tell us when the problem started, whether it affects one item or a whole circuit, whether any protective device trips, and your postcode. Do not remove electrical covers, touch exposed wiring or test live equipment yourself.
Common possibilities include an appliance issue, moisture ingress or a fault in wiring. It requires safe diagnosis rather than assumptions.
Contact us with the fault and location. We can confirm availability, but do not advertise a guaranteed 24-hour response.
Our published guide price is from £50 for the initial visit including the first hour. Additional labour and materials can apply.

Socket repairs and replacement
A dead, damaged or intermittent socket needs checking before it is replaced. We can diagnose the problem and replace an existing socket where the wiring is suitable. First visit from £50. Additional existing socket or switch replacements during the same visit are £15–£25 each, plus materials.

Outdoor and PIR light repairs
We can investigate an existing outside light or PIR security light that has stopped working, stays on or does not respond to movement. Replacement can be arranged where the existing wiring and mounting point are suitable. A photo of the light and its switch helps us estimate the job.
Existing outside light or PIR replacement starts from £65, plus the new fitting.
Existing extractor fan replacement
If a bathroom or kitchen extractor fan has stopped running, is noisy or does not switch off correctly, we can check the existing fan and controls. We can replace an existing fan when the supply, ducting and opening are suitable. New ducting or building work would be assessed separately.
Existing extractor fan replacement starts from £50 labour, plus the fan.
